HNK Counseling Services was founded by Cristi Henk, MA, LPC-S, in order to provide affordable counseling to those who lack insurance and are in need of a sliding scale. Through Cristi's sponsorship of interns this possibility is now a reality, creating an affordable place for clients from all incomes and walks of life.
What are Licensed Professional Counselor Interns?
Interns are those who have obtained a Master’s degree in counseling, have passed the National Licensing exam, and have been granted licensing under the provision of working under the supervision of Cristi Henk, LPC-S for a set amount of hours. During the final year of education these counselors have worked with clients through agencies or non-profit organizations.
